Cardi B has filed for divorce with her husband Offset. Cardi B said she is not “hurt” after filing for the divorce. She has not even ‘not shed one tear’.
She is the one to be upfront and honest with her fans. Cardi B has done an Instagram Live to illustrate what is going on with her relationship with her husband.
While speaking on Friday, she said, “I want to say thank you so much. However, like, I don’t really need it.”
“I want to let you know I have not shed not one tear.
“This time, I wasn’t crying. Wanna know why? The reason [for] my divorce is not because of none of that s*** that ever happened before. It’s not because [of] the cheating.”
“I’m seeing people be like, ‘Oh, he has a baby on the way.’ That’s a whole, f***ing complete lie. That’s the second time people are trying to pin babies over here. No, that’s bulls***.”
Some sceptics even accused Cardi of wielding it as a publicity stunt. She convinced fans that that is entirely not the case.
Cardi B continued in her Instagram Live
She continued and said “I don’t do stunts. I don’t need stunts and don’t need any stunts that come to the family to sell anything.”
“I just got tired of arguing and got tired of not seeing things eye to eye. When you feel like it’s not the same anymore before you actually get cheated on, I’d rather just be, you know what I’m saying? Like, I’m tired of people.”
“I want to say thank you to everybody they’ve been showing me, love. I’m great, okay, not down, not devastated. I’m not hurt.”
Cardi B did an honest interview with Vogue in 2019 where she dealt with the fact that Offset had deceived her.
She said, “He cheated and everything – and I decided to stay with him and work together with him. A lot of people were so mad at me; a lot of women felt disappointed in me.”
“But it’s real-life s***. If you love somebody and you stop being with them, and you’re depressed and social media is telling you not to talk to that person because he cheated, you’re not really happy on the inside until you have the conversation.”
“Then, if you get back with them, it’s like, how could you? You let all of us down. People that be in marriages for years, when they say till death do us part, they not talking about little arguments like if you leave the fridge open. That’s including everything.”
