This 2017 movie is based on a famous book written back in 1934 by Agatha Christie and the same title. This movie grossed $350+ million dollars worldwide with amazing cast crew such as Johnny Depp in the role of a gangster. This movie is directed by Kenneth Branagh.
Badla
“Badla” means revenge. This revolves around an ambitious businesswoman who had a perfect family but that family is ruined because of her ambition and over-confidence. Directed by Sujoy Ghosh and starring Amitabh Bachchan as a lawyer and Taapsee Pannu as Naina Sethi, an ambitious businesswoman, this film presents an amazing plot.
Knives Out
Directed by Rian Johnson, this film received wide appreciation, particularly for its screenplay, direction, and acting, and grossed $312 million worldwide against a $40 million budget. The film was nominated in the Musical or Comedy category, Best Motion Picture, Best Actor for Craig, and Best Actress for de Armas at 77th Golden Globe Awards. It also received Best Original Screenplay nominations at the 73rd British Academy Film Awards and 92nd Academy Awards. The revolves around the murder of a novelist who had invited guests over his 85th birthday.

Zodiac narrates the story of investigations on a Zodiac Killer, a serial murderer who shook the San Francisco Bay Area with terror during the late 1960s and early 1970s, he used to taunt police with letters, bloodstained clothing, and ciphers mailed to newspapers. The case remains one of the USA’s most infamous crimes. Fincher, Vanderbilt, and producer Bradley J. Fischer spent 18 months for their own investigation and research into the Zodiac murders.
Andhadhun
Akash, a struggling musician, who fakes his blindness, falls in his own trap of lies. This movie was released in 2018 and is available on Netflix. This is directed by Sriram Raghvan and casts Aayushmann Khurrana and Tabu. The concept of this movie was taken from L’accordeur (The Piano Tuner).
Witness the Prosecution
Witness for the Prosecution was released in 1957 American film coadapted and directed by Billy Wilder and casts Tyrone Power, Marlene Dietrich, Charles Laughton, and Elsa Lanchester. This film has an interesting English courtroom drama. This is set in the Old Bailey in London, the picture is based on Agatha Christie’s play with the same name, staged in 1953. This shows the trial of a man accused of murder. The film received positive reviews and six Academy Award nominations.
