Stuck While the lockdown seems to have no end, most of us are low-key bored with Netflix and Prime. So, if you don’t want to start a new series, and movies feel too long, here’s some more short films you can watch when you’re done baking Banana Bread.
Khujli starring Jackie Shroff and Neena Gupta, focuses on a couple working on rekindling their sexual relationship. It Stuck all starts when they find pink, furry handcuffs in their son’s room. Their responses to this are poles apart. Shroff is scandalized, to say the least, and blows up, while Gupta is weirdly calm. What follows is kind of a funny night; with the couple being really adorable. The film is so Stuck cute it will definitely leave you smiling.
Visa is the story of a man who is seeking a UK Visa for him Stuck and his family. He reveals to the officials that his daughter is extremely sick and her treatment can only be done in the UK and hence, he wishes to leave Pakistan and move. It’s a commentary on people wanting to Stuck flee their country for the safety of their families. It is a must-watch film in my opinion.
Tindey is a really sweet short film about a Stuck regular, middle-aged, government official in a happy marriage who comes across a dating app called Tindey (yes it’s pretty much Tinder). He downloads it out of excitement and meets a girl. You should watch this, if you want some quick laughs and grins.
Special day revolves around a boy who realizes how much he takes his mother for granted. At the beginning of the film, we discover that it’s the boy’s birthday and the mother has a gift for him and everything. He is, however, busy partying with his friends and forgets about her. Later in the film, he realizes the value his mother Stuck holds in his life and vice versa. Honest advice, don’t watch it with your mothers, you will never hear the end of it.
Khaaney mein kya hai-
Khaaney mein kya hai is a ‘progressive’ Short films to say the Stuck least. It shows a woman who has just come back from her honeymoon and she’s talking to her mother about it. They start talking about sex but exclusively in terms of food. It’s a peppy little film that will not disappoint.
I put in a lot of v time ‘researching’ (only really watched a lot of short films, loved it!) and I’m very proud of this list, so do give them a watch, I bet you’ll really enjoy them!!!
