NSUI: Promote first, second years students without exams.

University Grants Commission (UGC) has already declared that the new academic session will start from September.

Amidst all this The Congress -affiliated National Student Union Of India(NSUI) on Sunday recommended that students of the first and second year in universities should be promoted in the next class without holding examinations. It also said, “Students in the final year should be promoted on the basis of past performance with 10% extra marks since it is observed that students improve their performances in the final year.”

The wing further demanded that extra NSUI classes should be run for course work missed once the universities reopen.
