In some strange way or another, evil finds its company. Here are some couples that proved that a KILLER/criminal mindset may appear in twos.
Karla Homolka and Paul Bernardo- This killer couple drugged Tammy, a 15-year old sister of Karla, and strangled her to death. They also kidnapped and killed two other teenage girls proving to be the most notorious couple of Canada. Karla lives under a changed identity and Paul is presently jailed.
Ray and Faye Copeland- Convicted and given the death penalty for the murder of 5 to 12 people in 1991, 69-year old Faye and 79-year old Ray Copeland gave fake checks to drifter in the 80s to purchase cattle. After the delivery, they would kill and bury the drifters.
Charles Starkweather and Caril Ann Fugate- In the 1950s, 14-year old Caril and 19-year old Charles went on a killing spree and murdered 11 people in just 2 months. They were convicted and Charles was hanged to death.
Catherin May Wood and Gwendolyn Graham- This lesbian couple working as nurses killed five elderly women in 1987. They committed the murders in the Alpine Manor Nursing Home according to the first names of the victims to form the word ‘MURDER’. They were caught when they had reached ‘MURDE’.
Fred and Rose West- Between 1967 and 1987, this English couple murdered about 12 women. They would offer lifts to young and unsuspecting women, captivate them at their home and brutally torture them for days before killing them. Their house thus came to be known as the ‘House of Horrors’.
Myra Hindley and Ian Brady- Between 1963 and 1965, Myra and Ian sexually assaulted, brutally tortured, and murdered five children aged between 10 and 17 in Manchester. These diagnosed psychopaths would lure young children into the car before attacking them. They finally buried their bodies.
Crime is never done with the right mind and the psychological basis behind them is still debated and a topic of serious discussion and attention. No matter the criminals are clinically proven psychopaths or not, they definitely weren’t normal minded human beings.
