White Lines on Netflix features a stellar cast of famed faces — Laura Haddock, from The Guardian’s Of The Galaxy, will play the DJ’s sister. The cast also features The Detail’s Angela Griffin, Line Of Duty star Daniel Mays,  and Victoria’s  Money Heist Laurence Fox. 20 years post a legendary Manchester DJ esoterically disappears, his cadaver washes up on the shores of Ibiza. His sister Zoe flies out to Ibiza to investigate what happened, but she’s soon drawn into a sinister skein of dance clubs, lies, and cover-ups that stirs her to question her own character.

“Axle’s best friends, they all seem pretty suspicious,” says Money Heist Haddock’s voiceover in the White Lines trailer making it perfectly clear that as far as Zoe is concerned, everyone is a suspect. It doesn’t help that said friends seem sufficiently averse to assist Zoe in her quest for the truth.

When Zoe takes the matter to the police, she unwittingly creates problems for the group, as well as herself. “When you find out the truth, it just leaves you cold,” she teases, as a montage of shots bares a flash of drug Money Heist explosions, car chases, and extravagant pool parties. But even amid all the chaos, the protagonist refuses to flinch.

While there, she’s bedeviled with troubles of her own or, as the production company voiced it, she must “confront the darker sides of her own character in a place where people live life on the edge”. Netflix’s official synopsis reads:Money Heist

“When her brother is discovered dead, a Manchester woman leaves her quiet life to travel to Ibiza, where she seeks the truth about his disappearance.”

The Netflix crime drama, made up of ten episodes, premieres on the 15th of next month. Watch the official White Lines trailer here: https://youtu.be/Uj7uyeaJjFQ
