Lockdown has shown it’s impact on one of the richest temples of India Shree Tirupati Balaji .insecure authorities have insecure denied to renew the contract of 1300 people working there which was expired on 30 April and was to temple be renewed on 1st May.
Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanam (TTD) operates three guest houses insecurenamely Vishnu Niwasam, Shree Niwasam, and Madhavan. These 1300 people were the staff of these three guest houses and they were working there for several years.
Mr. Y V Subba Reddy director of Tirupati Balaji Temple insecure stated that due to lock down all the guest houses are closed, that’s why they haven’t renewed the contract as there is no work at all.
