All of us dreamt of a long holiday with Netflix and no work. But now that dream has come true, we have reached our limit of ‘chilling’. But with a fresh batch of amazing series and movies released or yet to be released, Netflix has caught our attention once again.
- Bombay Begums- A strong feminist series about five women in urban of varied ages who are struggling at life. A story revolving around struggles of women in a male-centric society revolving around, principles, rules, choices and desires.
- A Suitable Boy- Written by Andrew Davis, this series is adapted from the novel of the same name by Vikram Seth. Starring Ishaan Khattar and Tabu, this series is much awaited and will be aired on 26th July 2020.
- AK vs AK- Starring Anurag Kashyap and Anil Kapoor, this Netflix movie are all set to release and people are excited! Directed by Vikramaditya Motwane, this film falls in the genre of action and thriller.
- Raat Akeli Hai – To be released on 31st July, this series starring Nawazuddin Siddiqui and Radhika Apte is another much-awaited piece of art. Honey Trehan directed it, this thriller is expected to be another masterpiece.
- Ludo- Abhishek Bacchan is, making a comeback with Ludo and everyone is excited. Also starring brilliant actors like Rajkumar Rao, Aditya Roy Kapur and Sanya Malhotra this dark comedy by Anurag Basu is one of them to be released movies off Netflix.
- Dolly Kitty Aur Who Chamakte Sitare- This movie will be included in the Netflix very soon. The movie about two cousins with a secret and their journey to freedom is a work of art. Starring Bhumi Pednekar and Konkona Sen Sharma this satiric comedy is directed by Alankrita Shrivastava.
- Mismatched- On-screen romance of Youtuber Prajakta Koli and Rohit Saraf. People are excited about Prajakta Koli’s Bollywood debut.
- Gunjan Saxena: The Kargil Girl- Directed by Sharan Sharma this is a biographical movie that will be released on Netflix. Janhvi Kapoor will play the lead of Gunjan Saxena.
- Tribhanga: Tedhi Medhi Crazy- Produced by Ajay Devgn Films, this movie stars Kajol, Tanvi Azmi and Mithila Palkar. Renuka Shahane directed this movie about three women of three generations and their dancing journey.
- Bhaag Beanie Bhaag- This comedy series stars Swara Bhaskar and Varun Thakur and is highly anticipated by the audience. Produced by David Bernad, Ruben Fleischer, Seher Ali Latif and Shivani Saran this series will revolve around the life of up and coming stand up comedian Beanie(Swara Bhaskar) and her struggle in this career path.
- Torbaaz- Directed by Girish Malik and produced by Raju Chadha and Rahul Mittra, this movie will star Sanjay Dutt as an army officer we will also see Nargis Fakhri in the movie.
- Serious Men- Another film of Nawazuddin Siddiqui in the lead role. Based on Manu Joseph’s book of the same name, this movie is directed by Sudhir Mishra.
